HookedOn-IRC Create a Channel
The following steps are you help you Create a Channel and Register a Nick Name
1. Get an IRC client such as mIRC
2. Connect to a server we own (to see the servers list click here
)
3. Register your nick by typing /msg nickserv register <password> <email> where password is what you want you nick pass to be and email is your email address.
4. With your client open, type /join #chan where chan is the name of the channel you want to create.
5. Register your channel by typing /msg chanserv register <#channel> <password> <description> (where channel is you type your channel name, password is your channel password, and description is a short description of your channel). |
